My Child Says Daddy

Reaching Your Goals…

M

y Child Says Daddy (MCSD), a parenting organization was founded in 1989 by Reginald Brass to address issues of concern to fathers seeking a more active involvement in the rearing of their children.
MCSD is committed to serving to bridge the gap between fathers and the obstacles they encounter by providing much needed technical assistance, support and increased visibility to this problem.

MY CHILD SAYS DADDY bridges the gap between fathers and the obstacles keeping them from being with their children. We do this through a prevention and intervention program that includes a series of workshops and study groups. The workshops include:

FATHERHOOD - Individual and group sessions emphasizing guidelines and principles in nuturing and accepting the responsibilites and rewards of fatherhood.

MOTHERHOOD - The focus of this workshop is to help mothers allow the father more access to and to accept responsibility of the child(ren). Communication between the parents is a key element in making single parent households work.

DEALING WITH BITTER DIVORCE - A mulitude of resources are available for establishing the necessary lines of communication and interaction when going through this traumatic time. Issues of concern include developing a parenting paln, establishing visitation and child support, and how to deal with new mates or spouses… all in the best interest of the child.

PARENTING CLASSES - This 12-week program is designed to provide parents with coping skills, parenting basics, and alternative methods of dealing with challenges and problems affecting today's youth.

We are not attorneys, nor is My Child Says Daddy an attorney firm. My Child Says Daddy is a parenting organization.
